Wakesurfers are small to medium sized surfboards whose sole purpose is to surf behind a boat. Unlike ocean surf boards, wake surfers are shorter, lighter, and oftentimes narrower than an ocean surf board. This allows the rider to pop, spin and ride in a smaller area. There are two main types of wakesurfers, skim style and traditional style. A skim style wake surf board is thinner and offers more agility in the water.
